The same 50-home street on one 250 kVA transformer (≈237.5 kW), simulated three ways in real time. Drag annual demand from today's level up to 300% — deep electrification (EVs, hot water, heat pumps) — and watch each transformer cope. Uncoordinated home batteries all grid-charge overnight and tip the feeder into overload; coordinated batteries charge only into spare headroom and shave the evening peak, holding the line.
